Why is there a layer of oil on my nut butter?
According to our suppliers, oil separation (the settling of a layer of oil on the nut butter) is a normal and natural process for 100% pure products. This is always the case for nut and seed butters: the higher the fat content of the product, the more and faster the oil separates after production.
To restore the emulsion of the product, you can stir the nut butter with a spoon. This will make it as creamy and delicious as before!
